How firmly does this evidence support the point?

Every finding carries a label. The label describes the retrieved text, not the whole tradition.

Well supported

The selected text states the claim. This is not a claim of universal scholarly consensus.

Debated or interpretive

The sources differ, or the point is a reading of the text rather than a statement the text makes outright.

Not established

The evidence retrieved for this project does not establish the point. The question stays open.

COMPARISON

See where the sources align — and where they do not.

Research can set tafsir beside tafsir, a school beside a school, or one scholar beside another, when the retrieved evidence actually speaks to both.

A missing source is not filled in. If only one side was retrieved, the comparison says so instead of inventing the other view.
